Aishwarya Rai Bachchan[1] (born Aishwarya Rai, and sometimes known simply as Ash or Aish, Tulu: ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯಾ ರೈ; 1 November 1973) is an Indian actress and former Miss World. Before starting her acting career, she worked as a model and gained fame after winning the Miss World title in 1994.

Often cited by the media as the most beautiful woman in the world,[2][3][4] Rai made her movie debut in Mani Ratnam's Tamil film Iruvar (1997) and had her first commercial success in the Tamil movie Jeans (1998). She came to the attention of Bollywood in the movie Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999), directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Her performance in the film won her the Filmfare Best Actress Award. In 2002 she appeared in Bhansali's next project, Devdas (2002), for which she won her second Best Actress Award at the Filmfare.

Jyothika Saravanan was born to Chander Sadanah, a film producer, and Seema Sadanah on 18 October 1978 in Mumbai. She is a Punjabi Muslim and she did her schooling in Chembur Muslim School in Mumbai. She has a half sister Nagma (original name Nandita) also an actress, from her mother's previous marriage.

She married a popular actor Surya on 11 September 2006 with whom she has also acted in 7 films with. The pair have a daughter named Diya born in August 2007. They are now expecting their second child.

Jyothika Sadanah-Saravanan (Tamil: ஜோதிகா சாதானா-சரவணன்) is a Tamil film actress who acted in several Tamil films. She also acted in a few Kannada, Malayalam,Telugu and Hindi films. Her notable films include Khushi, Kaaka Kaaka, Perazhagan, Chandramukhi and Mozhi.
